Bishopston Primary pupils buzz with enterprise thanks to Yondur partnership

Young pupils at Bishopston Primary School in Swansea are gaining a head start in business and life skills thanks to a new partnership between 2B Enterprising and Yondur.

The collaboration launched with Year 1 students, who took part in fun, hands-on activities that encouraged curiosity, confidence, and kindness. Six-year-old Amelia summed it up simply: “I liked meeting new people.” Classmate Senan added: “I learned to be brave today… and how to make new friends.”

The sessions form part of The Bumbles of Honeywood programme, an innovative initiative that pairs local schools with businesses. Through storybooks, lesson plans, and interactive resources funded by partner companies, children learn about enterprise and resilience in a creative, age-appropriate way.

Yondur, a South Wales-based careers app, joins over 100 businesses already involved, including Sony, Principality Building Society, and National Grid. By supporting Bishopston Primary, Yondur is helping pupils build vital skills while fostering community links.

Jayne Brewer, CEO of 2B Enterprising, said: “Thanks to partners like Yondur, more than 400 schools across England and Wales are already benefitting from enterprise education.”

With enthusiasm running high, Bishopston’s budding entrepreneurs are buzzing with excitement about their future opportunities.
