Guess the job: Year 8 at Pontarddulais Comprehensive School explore real career pathways

Year 8 pupils at Pontarddulais Comprehensive School took part in an interactive employer panel session organised by Careers Wales. Through a “Guess the Job” activity, pupils questioned employers about their job roles and career journeys. They learned about a typical day in the job, including the good bits and the challenges, as well as the qualifications and subjects needed. The session also challenged common career stereotypes and broadened pupils’ understanding of different job roles. Employers offered valuable advice to help pupils make informed decisions about their Year 9 option choices and future careers.

Careers Wales and Pontarddulais Comprehensive school would like to thank Ceri from the NHS, Archi from Andrew Scott, Tracey from the DVLA and Jim Architect and Business Owner for being excellent employer panellists and role models for the pupils.
