My Choice Swansea: Enterprise Challenge

We’re thrilled to be hosting the Swansea Enterprise Challenge in the heart of the city centre! This exciting event is all about developing creativity, teamwork, and real-world enterprise skills.
Participants will take on fun, hands-on business challenges, work with local mentors, and bring their innovative ideas to life. It’s a fantastic opportunity to inspire young entrepreneurs, build confidence, and spark the next generation of business talent — all while having a great time!
This year the challenge is open to both primary and secondary schools.

DVLA Coding Challenge

07 July 2026

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has announced the return of its popular Code Challenge competition.   Beyond the prizes, the competition also offers a valuable learning experience – helping students build problem-solving and teamworking skills, while deepening their understanding of STEM subjects and computer programming in a fun, hands-on environment.  The 2026 challenge is open to children and young people aged 7 to 16, with schools able to enter in the following age categories:  7-11 age group and the 11-16 age group

The prize-giving event will be hosted by journalist and broadcaster Sian Lloyd, and the closing date for school submissions is 26 May 2026.
