Meet Your Careers Advisor

In secondary school, students begin exploring new subjects and developing their interests, leading to important learning choices that shape their future. With support from families, teachers, and careers advisers, they can make confident, informed decisions. Talking together and taking part in school and employer activities helps inspire future aspirations and broaden understanding of the world of work.

Deciding what to do after Year 11 is a big step. During Years 10 and 11, students start thinking about their future and exploring options such as further education, apprenticeships, training, work, or volunteering. Careers advisers are available to guide them, offering personalised support to help make informed choices. Talking regularly about their interests, strengths, and goals can help them feel confident about their next steps and understand that there are many routes to success.
