The Swansea Pledge and Barclays bring Premier League trophies to Y Storfa

Swansea City Council was delighted to welcome the Barclays Premier League trophies to Y Storfa this week, thanks to the strong links built through the Swansea Pledge and Barclays’ ongoing involvement with Swansea schools.

Learners from across the city were invited to see the iconic trophies up close. They enjoyed engaging talks about their history and significance, followed by the chance to take photos, a moment many won’t forget.

The visit didn’t stop there. Pupils also headed to the Collaboration Station to work with our Community Sports Officers, where they tried out boxing, golf, table tennis and a range of other fun, active sessions and discussions. The energy was fantastic, and learners had an excellent time exploring new activities and building confidence.

A brilliant day all round, celebrating partnership, opportunity, and the power of community.
