Swansea City Council was pleased to support the Careers Wales What Next? Choose Your Future event at Tramshed Tech Swansea, an inspiring and interactive showcase designed to help young people with additional learning needs explore their future pathways.
Year 10–14 pupils from local schools attended the event, taking part in hands‑on activities and meaningful conversations with employers. It offered learners a valuable chance to build confidence, ask questions, and gain a clearer understanding of the world of work.
With representatives from sectors including media, energy, construction, healthcare, technology, and local services, pupils were able to discover new possibilities, learn what employers look for, and engage in activities designed to spark curiosity and ambition.
We would like to thank all the schools who attended, the fantastic ambassadors from Cefn Hengoed for their brilliant support throughout the day, the businesses and our Swansea Pledge Partners in Learning, whose ongoing commitment continues to create meaningful opportunities for young people across the city.
